Well here it is April!

General Conference was this last weekend and it was awesome!!
Such a strong spirit I didn't want it to end! I have been reading the notes I took in my journal to remind me what i liked the most and the things I want to work on and do better at.

I have a facebook account now, which is why I am not keeping up on here as much. I think I am going to copy and paste a few notes in here from there. I have started writing down a few highlights from each week. this was the 2nd week I did it, so I am just starting~

"Things" From the Week Before Last

Sweetest thing I saw this last week -- I was sitting waiting for a funeral to start and there was a family with small children sitting a few rows in front of me. They had the cutest baby boy about one, and another boy about 3 years old. The 3 year old was so gentle with his baby brother and was talking to him and making him giggle then he would lean over and gently kiss the babies head and smile so lovingly at him. It was like watching a bit of Heaven.

Funniest thing I did this last week -- Teddy got his paws really muddy and I didn't want to give him Another bath so I picked him up around his middle and lugged him to the kitchen sink and while hold him with one arm (no small feat) I turned on the water and then grabbed a paw and started to wash it. Well he was none too happy about this and started to wiggle. Well I didn't want to drop him so I hefted him a little higher and put his butt on the edge of the sink and preceded to wash each paw. The humor of the situation was not lost on me, I was glad there was no one around with a camera, but it would have made a great shot! =)

Scariest thing I saw this last week -- I was headed to a meeting and Tom was driving slowly while Cristie rode her bike home, they had just dropped her friend at home. (she lives a few streets and blocks away) Waved to them as I went by. Noticed that she was going pretty fast down the hill. Looked in my rear view mirror just in time to see her and her bike in a heap. Tom was getting out of the truck to pick her up as I turned around to make sure nothing was broken. She had looked behind her and it made her swerve and her handle bar caught a telephone pole. She is ok but was very bruised and stiff this morning. Came out very lucky. We are glad there was no hospital visit! Still made it to my meeting.

"things" (from this last week)
Most Awesomest "Thing": General Conference, such a great messages and powerful spirit.
You know your not awake when ("thing"): You are trying to make orange juice for breakfast and can't find the small part of the lid that pops up until you have squished the juice out of the can, dump the water in, find a spoon, and start stirring. Wondered where that weird green color in the juice came from, the juice can wasn't green couldn't have dropped part of it in there without noticing. . . oh!. . . found it! lol

Make me have a huge cheesy grin on my face "thing": Coming home from a meeting and FINALLY seeing my brother's car in front of my house!! Adam and Seth came to see us. I love my family!!!!

I will post pictures from my brothers visit as soon as I get mine down loaded and as soon as Adam sends me the ones he took! =)

I do have a few updated pictures of Kaleigh!

She is starting her 9th month. How time flies. She gets to go to the doctor tomorrow and maybe even find out if she is having a boy or girl, at least she is hoping they will do an ultra sound! I kinda hope so too, cuz I get to go with her and that would be so cool!

Kaleigh at about 6 months
Kaleigh at about 8 1/2 months!
